Hidden Street Art: A Street Art Stroll Through Central and Sheung Wan
A curated 120-minute private walk through the heart of Hong Kong’s street art evolution. Drawing from years of documenting the city’s changing walls, I’ll lead you through the dialogue between large-scale festival murals and the intimate, hidden gems tucked into the back alleys of Central. Discover the stories behind the paint and take home a classic instant-film memento of the city’s most vibrant corners.

Join me for a 2-hour private journey through the vibrant, ever-changing streets of Central and Sheung Wan.
This carefully curated route showcases the contrast between the grand murals that now define these street corners and the intimate ‘hidden gems’ that often hide in plain sight amidst the urban bustle.
Because this route is exceptionally dense with art, we spend more time looking and less time walking, making it a relaxed and engaging experience.
We’ll explore my carefully curated routes at your own pace, uncovering a side of the ‘Fragrant Harbour’ that most never find.

Our walk begins at the Kau U Fong Playground in Central, in the shadow of the evocative mural by French artist Seth.
From there, we’ll move through the hills toward PMQ, navigating a compact route where every turn reveals a new layer of the city's story.
We’ll wander through the atmospheric streets of Wa In Fong East and Tai Ping Shan, concluding our stroll just off Hollywood Road close to the famed Cat Street and Man Mo Temple.

Art in Motion: See the streets come alive. We'll use a specialised augmented reality app to watch the work of Victoriano transform from a static image into a moving story
The Scale of the Streets: We’ll explore the massive works created during various HKwalls festivals, discussing the techniques and stories behind these iconic ‘outdoor gallery’ pieces.
The Hidden Gems: I will introduce you to the smaller, clever interventions that most visitors walk right past. We’ll look for the thought-provoking social commentary of Go Hung, the unusual ‘tag’ version by 3, and the poignant, tiny figurines by Spanish artist Isaac Cordal.
Local Insights: As we walk, I’ll share the insights I’ve gained from years of documenting these streets—giving you a perspective on the culture and endurance behind the paint.
